Q. What type of Professionals will benefit from this program?
A. Our program is perfect for Midwives, Doulas, Massage Therapists and all Caring Professionals. The Infant Massage Therapy Certification also benefits Pediatricians and other professionals who help infants or new parents.
Q. Where can I use my certification?
A. Our Infant Massage Therapy Certification can be used anywhere in the USA and many other countries. Please read the Introduction Chapter for more information on this topic.
Q. Do you offer job assistance or placement?
A. We are developing a database of IMC Professionals. If you would like to be added to this list and contacted by employers and about work opportunities, please email us.
Q. If I choose one of the programs that includes Skype training, how does that work?
A. IMC will email you detailed instructions, our Instructors may be able to FaceTime or Skype. It is best to have a strong internet connection, quiet environment, and good lighting. The sessions are a wonderful opportunity to ask questions about specific challenges or practice a session with an Instructor.
Q. Will I be able to massage babies with this Certificate?
A. Simply put, this Certification does not allow you to touch infants. You teach infant massage to others showing techniques on a demonstration doll. If you are a licensed or certified professional who is allowed to massage babies (massage therapists, nurses, etc.) you are able to massage infants directly based on that credential. We discuss this in more detail within the Introduction Chapter, please review to understand when this is permissible.
Q. Is IMC an accredited program?
A. We are currently in the process of obtaining accreditation. In the meantime, we are following the standards and requirements necessary to for this process. We will contact all graduates and current students once this is completed.
Q. Do you offer live workshops?
A. We offer our program to students in schools. If you would like to schedule a workshop and are not part of a school, please contact us. We are happy to coordinate a workshop in most professional settings.
Q. What is your Cancellation Policy?
A. If you change your mind, or decide to enroll in a different course, a refund or exchange may be issued within 5 days of purchase ONLY if you have not yet logged in to the program. Due to the proprietary nature of our curriculum, we cannot allow refunds or exchanges on programs after you have logged in.
